This is a self-drive tour. You must make your own way to the meeting point inside the park.
What to Expect
Arrive at the meeting point with time to spare. After meeting your guide and group, you walk a short distance to the water.
Your guide gives a clear safety briefing and helps you put on the dry suit and snorkeling gear. Once ready, you enter the cold but calm water of Silfra.
While floating at the surface, you explore the fissure’s narrow passages and wider sections. The water is extremely clear, and the geology is easy to see. Your guide stays close, takes photos, and ensures everyone is comfortable.
After snorkeling, you return to land for a warm drink and light snack.
